Jan 5 Hotfixes and How They Affect You

Another day, another set of hotfixes....

There were a few MAJOR changes to the dungeons/raids in Cata:

•Heroic Deadmines now has significantly less trash mobs.
•Bellows Slaves no longer drop elite-level loot.

Engineering
•All eight of the Engineering discoveries are now able to be learned through crafting the Overpowered Chicken Splitter at max-level Engineering.

I have heard a few people get frustrated not getting discoveries, so this is a good thing...I think....too bad the mats cost is extreme versus the sell price on them

Skinning
•Dragonkin in Grim Batol can now be skinned.
•Creatures can no longer be skinned more than once.

Both of these were bound to be fixed, as one of my buds told me about this after the last hotfix, and he was making a killing on them... (the skinned "more than once" was- in one area- viable for leveling too, where you didn't get loot, but you got credit for the skin).
