WTB & WTS Waypoints in Diablo 3? How About Getting it Free?

Sure, you can buy and sell waypoints (Inferno Acts specifically) in D3, and there are plenty of threads in all kinds of forums trying to sell for 20K, 50K, 100K, etc.

For the noob, thats all and good. Had I known this last week, I wouldn't have wasted 50K on one of my toons....oh well. Since it's still legit after the patch this week, I thought I would do a quick post for those that weren't aware of this!

However, if you are a lowbie running in Hell gear, here's a way to get to some of the well known spots out there without the death and decay grind through the Inferno questline.

An easy way to do this is to do a "manual" freebie waypoint (although unless you complete a quest you will lose it upon logout). Steps written below video....

Step 1:

Log in (on Normal, Nightmare, Hell) to the "waypoint" you want to get to.

Step 2:

Join public, click on location (waypoint) again.

Step 3:

Log out of public.

Step 4:

Look at you! You just made a free waypoint courtesy of Blizzards glitches!
