Not a whole lot of Gold"ish" changes, but there is a major one, Lifebound Alchemist Stones (see below for the new scoop).
Professions
- Archaeology keystone fragments can no longer be prospected.
- Lifebound Alchemist Stones can no longer be disenchanted.
Now this point is a long shot, but I believe that you will see a slight drop in herbs/Volatile Life due to this. Remember, Blizz is planning on more Alchemist stones in 4.0.6, and from what I understand, they are D/E'able. So get while the getting is good if the mats do start dropping in price. Because we all know soon they will be right back up. Ya Hear?
- Darkmoon Card: Volcano now triggers from periodic damage.
- Free Action Potions now cannot be used above level 80.
Arenas
- Ring of Valor has been temporarily disabled until select bugs can be fixed in an upcoming patch.
Well folks, that's what popped out for me, but as usual, there are others that I did not post over at Blizzard's Hotfix, check it out.

Technically, these hotfixes were Live more than a week ago, at least some of them (Free Action Potion, for sure). We are just hearing about them now because Blizzard apparently takes MLK Day as serious as the banks/gov't offices.
I was saying just yesterday that probabily Alchemist's Stones (also the new ones) won't be disenchantable anymore... The post is:alchemists and 4.0.6
However, it happened earlier than I thought... Now let me run to the AH!
@ Azuriel,
I wasn't aware of the Free Action change until I read it in the notes yesterday, just getting the info out to all that didn't know! When I see Blizz has a new round of hotfixes up, I like to cover them, as I am more of an AH'er (with the little time I have to play WoW) so alot of these I don't know about until they post them...
@ Kreaton,
Keep it up! You know that if you have a hunch about something that is gonna happen in our little WoW world, go with it! Had I known, people have been spamming trade trying to sell these, and I missed out on quite a few purchased for resale. I wish I had your mindreading skills!
None of the new Alchemist Stones will be Disenchantable either. I managed to snatch up 9 MC right when I heard the news, so hopefully I can flip for double the profit. A little upset I didn't get the enchanting patterns now that it's going to cost even more. But, hindsight is 20/20! Oh well, I'd imagine those enchanters that did pick up the recipes will be able to command a good premium for their services now.
Vince,
Where did you hear that they are not D/E'able?
