Hotfixes by Blizz Dec 21 and How They Affect You

Blizz added more hotfixes as usual, how do they affect you?

•The sell prices for the 7th and 8th bank tabs purchased with guild level 5 are now 0.
Love the addition, more tabs for more junk. =)

•Chaos Orbs can now only been seen and rolled on by characters with a minimum skill level of 425 in Tailoring, Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, or Engineering.
Making a craftable item more available? Check your bags and AH, as these will be a bit more "rare" after this fix. Also, you might want to level that prof up if you have been lacking, if nothing more than to get the roll.

•Elemental Goos now drop 100% of the time off of Cataclysm elementals for the Jewelcrafting daily quest.
With only 10 minutes to get my daily done a few days back, I figured I could hit Hyjal and knock it out quick. But to my dismay, it took 15 minutes....Missed the daily on that one. Now it seems that is possible, thanks Blizz, much appreciated.

•Stone Bats in Deepholm can no longer be skinned.
There were a few bloggers that hit on this area, as the spawn rate was =), so it was only a matter of time before the powers that be fixed this one...

•Nightsabers in Teldrassil are able to be skinned now without issue.
Well, the stone bats were one thing, nice to see that Blizz is showing love to the skinners out there, take one away, give one up. You might want to check this place out before everyone else does.

•Rare Archaeology finds should now grant triple skill gains.
Now even a more liable option for utilizing the XP gain for Arch.

Well folks, thats what popped out for me, but as usual, there are others that I did not post over at Blizzard's Hotfix, check it out.

I think that the Chaos Orb change is a valid one. It's great to give those to Crafters first before anything else but I hope that later on, they make them "Need-able" by everyone. Mainly, once people are maxed out in their professions and the next "Orb" is out, these wont be nearly as useful for just these crafters and I have a feeling that they will just head straight off to the AH.

With that said, this gives these professions an advantage over everyone else for the simple fact that they can make gold off of it.

What do you think?

With that fix, it's almost as if they are promoting people to maximize their professions. And I really like it. Have you seen if they are BoP now?

I can remember when d/e'ing wasn't needed in a dungeon (if there was an enchanter in group, then you were a'ok to roll on the shard/dust) and that was a viable way for chanters to make gold, then when only rogues could open locked boxes in groups (then they added they still could, but instant roll on what's inside- anyone ever level a rogue lockpick skills? Ugh, ALOT of time back in the day, I think that one is hotfixed too now). Another viable profit for being a rogue. But blizz took them both away and gave the power to the masses.
